PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring the density of a micro-sample having high radioactivity highly accurately and easily by remote operation, concerning a once-through type micro-sample density measuring device for evaluating swelling (volume expansion) of nuclear fuel material. SOLUTION: This once-through type micro-sample density measuring device is characterized by being provided with a dry basket and a wet basket having separable bottom lids respectively, and with a driving mechanism for moving vertically the dry basket and the wet basket separately respectively, to thereby separate/combine each basket from/with each bottom lid, combining the bottom lid of the dry basket and the bottom lid of the wet basket with a suspended line from a weighing balance, to thereby suspend the dry basket in the air and the wet basket in the liquid in a liquid vessel, inputting a sample from a sample input port into the dry basket through a guide hopper to measure the weight thereof, and inputting the sample into the wet basket through the guide hopper by raising the dry basket to measure the weight thereof in the liquid.
