The device has a pressure source for a hydraulic liquid connected via a line to a load and a valve at the highest point of the hydraulic system. The valve housing has a feed for connection to the hydraulic system on its underside and an outlet on the upper side as well as upper and lower sealing surfaces. The valve body has a diameter greater than those of the feed and outlet but smaller than the internal diameter of the valve housing.
