PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an electric power steering unit capable of eliminating any influence of errors generated in an estimated angular velocity and an estimated angular acceleration without impairing stability even in an intermittent mode of the electric power steering unit. SOLUTION: In the control device of the electric power steering unit for performing a PWM control of a motor based on a current control value operated from an auxiliary steering instruction value operated by an operating means based on steering torque generated in a steering shaft and from a current value in the motor for giving auxiliary steering power to a steering mechanism, the current control value is obtained by multiplying an estimated value in which the steering torque is converted into a function to a motor angular acceleration generating unit. |
