PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescence measuring instrument capable of measuring fluorescence without degrading the mechanical strength of a capillary column and a vessel. SOLUTION: This fluorescence measuring instrument has the capillary column covered with a resin film, a light source for applying excitation light on the capillary column, a fluorescence detection means for detecting the fluorescence generated by the excitation light, and a control part for controlling the operation of the light source and the fluorescence detection means. In this case, the excitation light is applied on the capillary column to generate the fluorescence from the capillary column itself or the resin film, and the fluorescence intensity of a sample in the capillary column is measured after a time until the fluorescence weakens to a desired value or below has elapsed. |
