<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus allowing a user to grasp the power consumption value by the power consumption calculating function. SOLUTION: In the case the power source of an imaging apparatus is turned on and the initializing operation is finished, a counting operation by a timer 0 counter is started so as to calculate the power consumption value in the waiting state (S201-204). In the case the transition condition of the energy saving mode 1 is sensed during the waiting state (S205; Y), the state is changed to the energy saving mode 1 (S206) and the unnecessary power source systems are blocked. At the time of the transition, energy saving mode parameters including the transition time, the recovery sensing condition, the recovery sensing time, and the schedule setting condition are read, and the parameter values are set in an energy saving mode controlling circuit 20 inside an ASIC 2 so as to execute the system controls including which recovery sensing signal is to be monitored, which logic is to be used at the time of sensing, and how long the sensing time is.</p> |
