PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power loss by downsizing an oil pump used for an automatic transmission for vehicle. SOLUTION: An oil pump shaft 26 equipped with a sprocket 62 with a one way clutch, a motor main shaft 61a equipped with the sprocket 62 with a one way clutch, and a pump driving shaft 60a equipped with a sprocket 64 are connected by engaging chains on each sprocket 62, 63, 64 respectively. An electric motor 61 is equipped with an electric motor controller 69 and when the engine revolution number detected by a revolution detecting device is not greater than the specified value, the electric motor 61 is rotated to make the electric motor 61 to drive an oil pump 60.
