PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating agent composition excellent in thermostability, thermal decomposition resistance, low thermal expansibilty, adhesion, acid resistance and scratch resistance as well as capable of obtaining a transparent cured film, a cured film of a coating agent obtained from the composition and a manufacturing method of the cured film. SOLUTION: This coating agent composition comprises a silane-modified epoxy resin containing an alkoxy group obtained from dealcoholic condensation reaction of (1) an epoxy resin containing hydroxy groups, (2) an epoxy compound having one hydroxy group in one molecule and (3) a partial condensate of an alkoxysilane, the cured film of a coating agent is obtained by curing the composition; and the manufacturing method of the cured film is provided.
