PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk case having a simple structure in which a height size of the case is lowered upon reliably fixing a disk in the case and which enables the disk held on a base of the case to be easily taken out of it. SOLUTION: The disk case 1 has a base 2 for fixing a disk D, such as a CD, and an openable flap 3 which covers the disk D held on this base 2 and which is mounted, if necessary, to the disk case 1. The base 2 is provided with a hinge 5 with which part of the base 2 is connected to the main portion of the base 2 in such a manner as to be foldable in the direction in which its part is kept away from the disk D. This hinge 5 is disposed at a position extending across the disk D on the base 2.
