摘要 <p>The following are claimed:/ (A)A nucleic acid (I) comprising 1000-1100 nucleotide units which codes for an immunogenic peptide sequence capable of inducing anti- HBV antibody prodn. in vivo (HBV is hepatitis B virus)./ (B)Polypeptides including a peptide sequence coded by (I)./ (C)Phage- or plasmid-type vectors which contain at least part of the lactose operon (esp. its promoter and Z gene) and which are modified by insertion of at least a fragment of (I) into a suitable site in the Z gene./ (D)Hybrid proteins coded by (I) in the vectors.. The polypeptides and hybrid proteins can be used as vaccines or diagnostic reagents for hepatitis B.</p>
