PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freezer/refrigerator in which the chill passage is prevented from being contracted or choked by frosting an evaporator uniformly. SOLUTION: In the freezer/refrigerator arranged such that chill sucked from the air inlet of a refrigeration compartment is cooled by an evaporator and supplied from an air outlet, a duct member for introducing chill from the air inlet of the refrigeration compartment to the lower section of the evaporator and introducing the chill passed through the evaporator to the air outlet of the refrigeration compartment is disposed in front of the evaporator. Since the duct member forms a chill bypath for introducing chill from the air inlet to a part different from the lower section of the evaporator, a plurality of introduction passages to the evaporator are ensured and chill flow to the evaporator is substantially made uniform. Since the lower section of the evaporator is frosted entirely even if the chill flowing into the evaporator contains a large quantity of moisture and the surface of the evaporator is frosted significantly, chill flow to the evaporator is not disturbed nor stopped by local frost. |
