PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correcting the tooth form of an endless toothed belt by which the tooth form of a joint of the endless toothed belt can be corrected in a short time, and no shrinking of a tooth width or no contraction of a tooth pitch at a part where the tooth form needs to be corrected occurs as well as a device using this method. SOLUTION: The joint of the endless toothed belt is set in a tooth form correcting device 1 constituted of a first hot platen 4 equipped with a mold 11 having a space of the same shape as the tooth form of the toothed belt, and a plain plate-like second hot platen 5 opposed to the first hot platen 4 in such a way that the teeth of the toothed belt coincide with the spaces. In addition, a resin sheet formed of the same resin as the toothed belt is installed so that the resin sheet is interposed on the back of the toothed belt, and is melted by pressurizing and heating the resin sheet with the help of the tooth form correcting device 1 to reform the tooth form of the joint. |
