PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a well for passing water through a cut-off wall, which is constituted by making symmetrically constituted split containers coupled together for integral constitution by a water passage pipe with a valve, and an underground water treatment mechanism which is disposed in the cut-off wall, wherein the wells are installed on upstream and downstream sides of a structure, and utilized effectively for collecting and pouring underground water. SOLUTION: The well 1 for passing the water through the cut-off wall comprises one split container 3, wherein an opening of a front surface 6 is composed of a filter 13 and wherein a cleaning pipe 8 opening while facing the filter 13 and a collecting pipe 2 opening while facing a rear space 9 of the filter 13 are disposed in a top surface, the other split container 3', which is disposed so as to be equal in structure and symmetrical to the split container 3 and constituted integrally with the split container 3 by coupling the rear spaces to each other by the water passage pipe 7, a detachable front cover 4 for closing the front surface of each of the split containers 3 and 3', and an extendable/contractible jack 5 mounted between the split containers 3 and 3'.
