PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple applicator which is capable of appropriately and easily correcting a coat in accordance with the size of an area within a range to be corrected while inhibiting the drying of a coating liquid to a minimum extent. SOLUTION: This simple applicator 100 is used for storing the coating liquid and making a coat correction with the use of the coating liquid. The applicator 100 comprises a container body 110 for storing the coating liquid, a protruded part 124 which is fitted to an opening 112 of the container body 110 in a freely attachable/detachable manner and protrudes, tapering toward the tip side, a lid 120 which is formed along the interior of the protruded part 124 and has an outflow hole 126, for the coating liquid, communicating with the opening 112, a shaft 142 which extends from the lid 120 in an opposite direction to the protruded part 124 and can be inserted into and removed from the coating liquid stored in the container body 110 through the opening 112 and a brush 140 with a brush tip 144 fitted to the tip part of the shaft 142.
