TAPE CUTTING AND PASTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cutting and pasting apparatus of high accuracy for cutting a film tape into a definite length to paste the cut tape to a large card raw material. SOLUTION: The tape cutting and pasting apparatus is constituted so that the film tape 5 coated with a heat-sealing agent is drawn out of a taking-up reel 8 over a definite length in a horizontal direction to be cut and the cut tape is pasted to the large card raw material 4 at a definite position. The tape unit part of this apparatus consists of a first suction piece 11 for feeding the film tape 5 delivered in the horizontal direction to the position of a second suction piece 12 in such a state that both side edge parts of the surface of the tape are sucked, the second suction piece 12 sucking the central part of the film tape to hold the film tape and a cutter blade 24 for cutting the film tape between the first and second suction pieces. The second suction piece has a mechanism falling after the film tape is cut by the cutter blade to bond the cut tape to the large card raw material 4 under pressure. This tape cutting and pasting apparatus can be constituted so as to have a structure for drawing out the film tape in a vertical direction.
