PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor capable of preventing the fluid from leaking. SOLUTION: Steps 44 and 45 are provided at the upper edges of walls 12b and 13b of a stationary scroll and a revolving scroll. The involute angleθS of these steps 44 and 45 should meet the condition thatθS=θβ+360 deg..n+180 deg. (n=0, 1, 2...), whereθβis the involute angle at the center side involute pointβof the walls where an involute curve starts.
