OINTMENT COMPOSITION AND FILM FOR ACCELERATION OF WOUND HEALING COMPRISING AQUEOUS CHITOSAN AND HEPARIN AND PRODUCT THEREOF

PURPOSE: An ointment composition and film obtained by dissolving heparin in water and adding aqueous chitosan thereto to promote wound healing are provided. The products are superior to chitosan itself in wound healing capacity, do not need organic solvents such as acetic acid, in particular in the case of an ointment, and are simple in a manufacturing process because they do not need to add a thickener during the production of the ointment. CONSTITUTION: The ointment composition contains an aqueous solution including 0.5 to 1.0% by weight of heparin and 10 to 20% by weight of water-soluble chitosan, wherein heparin is deaminated heparin or heparin sodium and the water-soluble chitosan is selected from the group consisting of carboxymethylchitosan, sulfated chitosan, JK-FM01, JK-FM02 and JK-FM03. The film is prepared by adding the water-soluble chitosan to the heparin aqueous solution in a weight ratio of heparin, chitosan and water of 0.1 to 0.5:1.5 to 2:100., coating on slide glass and then drying.
