CODE GENERATION DEVICE FOR USE IN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD THE SAME

PURPOSE: A code generation device for use in a communication system and a method the same are provided to use a plurality of quasi complementary turbo codes having a different code rate at a communication system supporting a retransmission. CONSTITUTION: A method for rearranging sub-codes of a two dimensional quasi complementary turbo codes includes steps of: generating a plurality of sets of the sub-codes of the two dimensional quasi complementary turbo codes for each of the given different code rates and rearranging sets of sub-codes of equal or different code rates to be transmitted after following the sub-codes transmitted in response to a specific code rate.
