PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring device for pattern for color-tone that makes a color patch printing unnecessary and avoids a waste of print, and makes it possible to monitor directly the variation of the pattern color-tone of print just after printing, and provide a control device for printing color-tone that can adjust the color-tone variation promptly based on the monitored information. SOLUTION: The devices are equipped with a spectrum measurement processing part 22 for measuring separately a spectrum reflection-intensity of the total face in the printing width-direction per a printing unit cycle, and with a color judgement processing part 28 which is constituted such that a spectrum reflectance is calculated from a measured reflection intensity, then an averaged spectrum reflectance data within a divided zone of a pattern region is converted to a desired color indication system, a optical density is calculated, a color value judged as good and the optical density are memorized, the memorized values and data obtained sequentially are compared, a color difference and an optical density difference are calculated, a compensation quantity of ink charge is calculated by judging whether a correction of the color tone of print is necessary or not and eventually feeds the compensated quantity of the ink to an ink feeding quantity control device 30. |
