PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a defective display caused by pressure applied to a liquid crystal display panel when a polarizing plate is stuck on the liquid crystal display panel by sticking the polarizing plate on the liquid crystal display panel with high accuracy, preventing the containment of air bubble in between, and uniforming the pressure on the liquid crystal display panel applied for sticking. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel is manufactured by a manufacturing apparatus which has a table 3 for fixing a liquid crystal display panel, a table 5 for adsorbing a polarizing plate, a buffer part 7, a braking part 8, and an elevating/lowering mechanism 6 in a vacuum chamber 1. A liquid crystal display panel 2 is fixed on the table 3 for fixing a liquid crystal display panel, and a polarizing plate 4 is fixed on the table 5 for adsorbing a polarizing plate installed in the elevating/lowering mechanism 6 through the buffer part 7. Furthermore, the inside of the vacuum chamber 1 is made into a reduced pressure state, the table 5 for adsorbing the polarizing plate is raised by the elevating/lowering mechanism 6 to stick the polarizing plate 4 to the liquid crystal display panel 2. At that time, the movement of the table 5 for adsorbing the polarizing plate is controlled by the braking part 8.
