PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plane handle device capable of facilitating the changing operation even if both opening and closing directions of a door are reversed. SOLUTION: A pair of screw holes 5a and 5b having an approximately 90 deg. of open angle with a shaft 4 as the center are provided to upward right and left of the shaft 4 on the rear of a main body 1, a circular-arch shaped slot 2b having the approximately 90 deg. of open angle with a connecting hole 2a as the center is formed in a position opposed to a tongue piece 6 with the connecting hole 2a to the shaft of a locking piece 2 as the center, and a screw 9 is put on one of the screw holes 5a and 5b through the slot 2b to control a rotational angle of a control handle.
