PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the image quality with the use of a thick ink and a thin ink having a good concentration balance. SOLUTION: A plurality of kinds of ink used for color printing includes the thick ink and the thin ink for at least one hue. A concentration of the thin ink is set so that a lightness of a light image region to be formed by discharging the thin ink by a preliminarily set maximum amount at the color printing time becomes a value within approximately 0.95-1.1 times an average of a lightness of a solid image region to be formed by discharging the thick ink by an amount corresponding to a dot recording ratio of 100% and a lightness of a printing medium in an unprinted state. Specifically, the thin ink has the concentration of approximately 1/3-1/2 a concentration of the thick ink. |
