PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high efficiency ink-jet head capable of discharging well and stably ink drops to a recording sheet, which can be driven with a low power. SOLUTION: A head substrate 1 having a plurality of heating resistors 4 on its top surface and nozzle members 7, each having an ink discharge hole 8 corresponding to the heating resistor 4 on the heating resistor 4 are arranged at prescribed intervals. At the same time, ink 9 is filled between the head substrate 1 and the nozzle members 7. A shape of the ink discharge hole 8 in a plan view is made to be nearly similar to that of the heating resistor 4. The heating resistor 4 and the ink discharge hole 7 are also concentrically arranged.
