PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a smooth rotation of a hinge shaft and a long life. SOLUTION: The hinge device has a cylindrical cover 22 having a cross section of approximately rhomboid; and a receiving part 31 which is formed at a position forming 180 deg. by a shaft part 28, a large diameter part 29 and an end surface 29a of the large diameter part 29 and of which a bottom surface is made to an inclined surface 31a. The shaft part 28 comprises a hinge shaft 23 projected from an opening 27 of a cover 22 and stored; a spherical body 24 stored in the receiving part 31; a spring press 26 stored at the other end side of the cover 22; and a flat spring 25 disposed in opposed to the end surface 29a of the hinge shaft 23 and urging the spherical body 24. The spherical body 24 is urged to the inclined surface 31a and an inner wall of the cover 22 by the flat spring 25 and is moved along the inner wall of the cover 22 accompanying a rotation of the hinge shaft 23 while resiliently deforming the flat spring 25.
