PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment ink composition capable of inhibiting bleeding without imparting pseudoplasticity to an ink, even though the composition exhibits a Newtonian viscosity behavior or a similar physical properties. SOLUTION: The pigment ink composition comprises a pigment and a dispersant and a mixed solvent comprising at least two solvents of different polarity which are each a poor solvent dissolving at most 0.5 wt.% of the dispersant when used alone but are a good solvent dissolving at least 0.5 wt.% of the dispersant in a mixed state. |
