PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink capable of easily forming an ink jet ink-receiving layer only at a necessary part of a substrate because it gives a printed ink excellent in water resistance, causes no bleeding of a printed image, gives a printed letter of high printed letter quality and is excellent in printing aptitude. SOLUTION: The ink for forming an ink jet ink-receiving layer comprises a vehicle mainly composed of a glycol-based solvent having a boiling point of at least 100 deg.C and, incorporated thereinto, a cationic resin, a drying oil and/or a semidrying oil and a dryer. |
