PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunction type electric vehicle capable of traveling with a passenger thereon and carrying and traveling in a walking steering position with a heavy object loaded in a cargo rack, by providing the seat detachably on a seat support and removing the seat with the cargo rack. SOLUTION: This multifunction type electric vehicle travels as displacing a steering handle body 2 relatively to an electric vehicle body 1 between a getting-on steering position wherein an operator sits on the seat 4 and steers in a getting-on state, and the walking steering position turned over from the getting-on steering position, wherein the operator steers while walking. The seat support 30 for the seat 4 provided to a chassis frame F of the electric vehicle body 1 is detachably provided with the seat 4, while the cargo-placing cargo rack 37 can be detachably installed to the chassis frame F side after detachment of the seat 4 from the seat support 30.
