<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically-fused saddle type joint in which the required fusion area and cold zone can be ensured without changing the position of a flanged part even when the diameter of a branch pipe to be connected is large, and the diameter of a barrel part and a spigot to be projected on a saddle part is large, and even a conventional clamping tool can be used without any change. SOLUTION: This electrically-fused saddle type joint comprises the saddle part 12 having a flange 11 projected on both sides and having a mat 16 in which a power cable is embedded spirally to a seat surface part to a pipe 4, the spigot 13 projected on the saddle part 12, and an extension part 14 of the saddle part 12 curved downwardly in a projecting manner, and expands the seat surface of the saddle part by the extension part.</p> |
