LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil composition capable of increasing an inter-metal frictional coefficient and thus achieving a high transmitting torque capacity. SOLUTION: This lubricating oil composition is characterized by incorporating at least 1 kind of boron compound selected from a group consisting of (A) an organoborate, (B) an organoborate/polyamine condensed material, (C) an organoborate/polyol condensed material, (D) an organoborate/phosphite adduct and (E) an organomercaptoalkyl borate to base oil for the lubricating oil.
