PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vulcanizing method and a vulcanizing apparatus for a pneumatic tire capable of enhancing productivity and stabilizing a tire quality by properly controlling a temperature of a waiting mold in an open state and effectively shortening a vulcanizing time. SOLUTION: A portion of a mold M contacting an unvulcanized pneumatic tire T is directly heated by a heating means 13 with the mold in an open state in advance when the tire T is vulcanized in the mold M.
