PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce transmission lines used for transmitting thermo-off signals and thermo-on signals among units in a refrigerating device provided with a multi-circuit constituted by connecting an outdoor unit (2), an indoor unit (3), a cold storage unit (4), and a refrigerating unit (5) to each other. SOLUTION: In the case where the low pressure in a refrigerant circuit (6) becomes a prescribed value or lower when the operating frequency of an inverter compressor (11) is a prescribed lowest frequency, the operation of the compressor (11) is stopped. When the low pressure of the circuit (6) becomes higher than the prescribed value after a prescribed period of time has elapsed from the operation stoppage of the compressor (11), the compressor (11) is restarted.
