PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interactive kaleidoscopic image producing device, capable of producing kaleidoscopic images, based on an image including the observer himself. SOLUTION: This kaleidoscopic image forming device 106 is equipped with a compact display 1062 outputting a moving image taken to include at least a part of the observer on a display screen, an optical kaleidoscope 1064 whose one end is arranged on the display screen, a compact camera 1066 held near the other end of the kaleidoscope 1064 in a state, where it is moved in an up- and-down direction and transforming the image produced by the kaleidoscope 1064 into an image pickup signal and outputting it, and a frame 1070 including an operation driving part for driving the compact camera 1066 according to the voice signal from the observer.
