PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that in order to form 5 fingers like tabi socks at an opening part of half-finished socks not having a knitted toe and made by using a circular knitting machine, it is necessary to sew the toe part with the opening part of the half-finished socks by using a flat knit type globe as a base, a sewing process is required and also a seam is produced at the sewn position to give an uncomfortable feeling on wearing them, and thus there is no product having an atmosphere of the socks and equipped with the 5-fingers part like the tabi socks. SOLUTION: The socks are provided by linking each knitting site of fingers from first to 5th finger at the toe side opening part of the cylindrical half- finished socks obtained by knitting a wearing port, heel and body part except for toe part by the circular knitting machine with point needles installed at a filling knitting machine, knitting finger parts having desired shapes by increasing or decreasing the stitches for each of the fingers by using the filling knitting machine and also pulling out the final ends of the knitting yarns for tying. Also, as the knitting yarn for knitting the finger parts, a raw material processed with an antibacterial or a de-odorizing treatment, or a raw material having a thermal insulating property is used.
