A duct flow-type fan (1) comprised of a housing (12) having at least one upper (14) and one lower (15) side walls as well as a laterally oriented air port (18), a motor (10), a vane (11), and a shaft (13). The vane (11) is fitted onto one end of the shaft (13), with the other end of the shaft conjoined to and driven by the motor (10) such that vane air current passes through the laterally oriented air port (18) of the housing to cool the heat sink (19) of a computer chip in order to achieve efficient computer chip heat dissipation. <IMAGE> |
