SOLUTION: A PC10 held by this optical fiber wavelength dispersion distribution measuring apparatus 100 determines whether FWM light from the far edge side of a fiber to be measured (far edge FWM light) is not less than a measurable value in a wide data region or not (step S12), and, in the case less than the value, increases the quantity of light for Raman amplification (step S13), and, in the case not less than the value, determines whether FWM light is in a range where the periodicity of far edge FWM light is maintained or not (step S14), and, in the case not in the range, reduces the quantity of light for Raman amplification (step S15), and, in the case in the range, fixes the quantity of light for Raman amplification (step S16).</p>
