PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor capable of having efficient operation by suppressing a leakage current even if a coolant containing no chlorine group in its molecule is used. SOLUTION: In this hermetic compressor, a stator winding 8 formed by being directly wound around the teeth part 12 of a stator core through an insulating material 15 is provide, a coolant in a H F C group is used for its coolant, and refrigerating machine oil 41 having no mutual solubility or having weak compatibility relative to the coolant is used.
