PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of uniformly heating a fixing roller in the circumferential direction efficiently in a short time, and to provide an image forming device using the same. SOLUTION: An induction heating coil 20 is arranged in a heating roller 11. On the outside wall of a bobbin 21 of which the axial line extends in the direction orthogonal to the axis line of the heat roller 11, coil wire 22 is wound around the axis line. An electric current is made to flow through this coil wire 22 to generate a magnetic flux 39 from both end parts of the induction heating coil 20. The induction coil 20 is reciprocally turned about the axis line in the range of 180 deg.. Therefore, the maximum heating position P2 appears in the whole circumferential direction (360 deg.) of the heating roller 11.
