PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end protective cover for an iron sheet coil which can be easily coiled along a circumferential surface of an end of the iron sheet coil, easily cover an end face of the iron sheet coil, be easily cut to the desired length according to size of the iron sheet coil, and pack the iron sheet coil in a short time. SOLUTION: In the end protective cover for the iron sheet coil comprising a synthetic resin strip-like protective cover body 5 and a plurality of folding projecting pieces 10, etc., integrally and continuously provided along a side edge of the protective cover body 5, a plurality of notches 15, etc., orthogonal to the side edge in the longitudinal direction of the protective cover body 5 are formed at predetermined intervals, and a notch 12 for preventing any return in folding each folding projecting piece 10 is formed on an outer circumferential surface on the side opposite to the folding direction of each folding projecting piece 10 at a connection part 11 of the protective cover body 5 to each folding projecting piece 10.
