The invention relates to a pipe mill (1) comprising a discharge wall (8), containing a central opening (11) to which the tubular discharge means (12) are connected, a lifting device (13) for conveying grinding stock to the central opening, in addition to a transfer device (14) arranged in an area of the central opening to transfer the grinding stock conveyed to the central opening to the tubular discharge means in order to prevent the discharged grinding stock from mixing with air fed through the pipe mill (12). The transfer device (14) is coaxially mounted relative to the tubular discharge means (12) in such a way that it defines an inner air duct (15). Furthermore, an outer grinding stock duct (16) with an annular cross section is formed by the tubular discharge means (12) and the transfer device (14).
