PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator which is free from such a trouble that an ink sticks to a container and ensures complete consumption of the total ink fill and also enables determining the residual level of the ink when a transparent or a translucent container is used. SOLUTION: This applicator is directly filled with the ink using a hydrocarbon solvent and a back-flow inhibitor using an organic solvent which is insoluble or hardly soluble in the hydrocarbon solvent and/or water, in such a state that the back-flow inhibitor is in contact with the ink interface. |
