PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat sheet which is suitable for heat-treated ham or heat-treated pickles products and free from any disadvantages of a collagen sheet for a food packaging cover. SOLUTION: This food packaging cover is formed of a sheet which is not water-soluble but permeable for gas, steam and smoke, and is a non-tubular flat sheet to which a reinforcing net can be attached to a surface of the sheet opposite to the food. The sheet is formed as a thin-walled fiber sheet having the maximum unit area weight of about 120 g/m2, and provided with a food adhesion preventive layer formed of a material which is capable of preventing adhesion of the food to the packaging cover and free from any problems from the viewpoint of food-related laws on the food side thereof. |
