PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transflective color liquid crystal display provided concurrently with brightness at a reflection mode and vibrancy of respective colors in a transmission mode. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display is provided with segment electrodes 10 having laminated structure consisting of an APC(Ag-Pd-Cu) film 18 and an ITO(indium tin oxide) film 19 on a lower substrate 2 and a common electrode 11 consisting of a color filter 13 with respective aligned pigment layers of R, G, B and an ITO film on an upper substrate 3. The segment electrodes 10 are provided with window parts 12 for light transmission, in which only the ITO pattern partly exists, in the respective pixels, and black stripes 25 are provided in regions, adjacent to the color filter 13 on the upper substrate 3, corresponding to space between the segment electrodes 10. |
