摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor the heating temperature and temperature distribution of a neutron reflector with higher accuracy. SOLUTION: This heat generation monitor for the neutron reflector comprises a pipe 5 brought into contact with the neutron reflector 1; an optical fiber 6 arranged inside the pipe 5; and a temperature measuring apparatus for analyzing light emitted from the optical fiber 6. The temperature measuring apparatus measures the temperature of the neutron reflector 1 on the basis of the light. The temperature measuring apparatus allows laser to enter the optical fiber 6 from one end and measures the temperature of the neutron reflector 1 on the basis of scattered light on which the laser is scattered. Or the optical fiber 6 contains a scintillator, and the temperature measuring apparatus measures a radiation dose on the basis of scintillation generated by the reaction of radiation and the scintillator, and assumes the temperature on the basis of the radiation dose.</p>
