<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hybrid construction equipment which has its component parts strategically arranged and sufficiently exhibits the performance of a battery. SOLUTION: The hybrid construction equipment is formed of a lower traveling body and a revolving superstructure 10 revolvingly arranged on the same, and the superstructure 10 includes an engine 1, a generator 3 driven by the engine 1, a battery 5 for charging therein electric power generated by the generator 3, an electric motor 7 driven by electric power of the battery 5, an inverter 6 for controlling the drive of the electric motor 7, and a driver's cab 12. According to the hybrid construction equipment thus formed, the battery 5 is arranged at a location separate from the engine 1 and the generator 3.</p> |
