PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera capable of accomplishing the miniaturization and the cost reduction. SOLUTION: As for the camera, a part of DX terminals (10) is set so that it may be switched to an input terminal or an output terminal, and in an external communication mode, a strobe timing signal is outputted outside after setting the part of the DX terminals (10) as the output terminal.
