PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material conveying device capable of improving the conveyability even when a sheet material is long and thick, and adjusting the lateral registration of the sheet materials of various sizes, and to provide an image forming device using the same. SOLUTION: A reversing roller 8 is mounted at an outer peripheral side of a curved second sheet material conveying passage, and a reversing roller 24 is mounted at an inner peripheral side.
