PURPOSE:To obviate the formation of temper colors by holding the base bricks of a box type annealing furnace in such a way as to avoid their contact with a gaseous atmosphere and annealing cold-rolled steel plates. CONSTITUTION:For example, a sealing plate 8 of steel plate or the like is put on the surface of base bricks 1 of a box type annealing furnace, to avoid contacting of the gaseous atmosphere in an inner cover 2 with the bricks 1. If in this state the coils 3 of cold-rolled steel plates are annealed, the increase of H2O% in the gaseous atmosphere is prevented, hence the formation of temper colors is kept in zero. |
