PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new borate compound having high stability (preservability) and sensitivity, and further to provide a photopolymerizable composition and a recording material containing the borate compound. SOLUTION: This borate compound is represented by general formula (I) (wherein, R1 is an alkyl group having a fluorine atom, or an aralkyl group having a fluorine atom; R2, R3 and R4 are each an alkyl group, an aryl group, a heterocyclic group or a silyl group; and Z+ is a cation). The photopolymerizable composition and the recording material contain the borate compound. |
