<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a measurement error even if the direction of traction of a seat belt as an object of tension measurement is oblique. SOLUTION: A seat belt tension measuring device comprises a base member 13 with one end supported on a vehicle body 12 by a bolt 11, a pair of journaling brackets 14 arranged at the other end of the base member 13, a strain sensor 15 arranged on the base member 13, and a turning member turnably journaled to the journaling brackets 14 and provided at one end with a seat belt holding portion 17 for holding one end of the seat belt 16 and at the other end with a strain sensor operating portion 18 brought in elastic contact with the strain sensor 15 to press it. A wave washer deformable to allow an inclination of the base member 13 is interposed between the bolt 11 and the base member 13.</p> |
