<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device of a construction capable of achieving power saving and realizing stability not causing an offset. SOLUTION: This invention discloses the fixing device for a picture forming device for forming a picture using low melting-point toner, and the fixing device comprises a heating body H1, an endless belt B1 suspended by the heating body and sliding on the heating body, pressing bodies B2, R3 which are arranged at the position opposed to the heating body and presses a material to be fixed (recording material) P on the endless belt at the position of the heating body, and a means for pulse-energizing the heating body, and is constructed so that a press-contact part between the endless belt and the pressing bodies hold the material to be fixed P carrying an unfixed picture (toner picture) T, and the heating body heat-fixes the unfixed picture on the material to be fixed via the endless belt, and the above heating body is characterized in consisting of a linear heating body arranged in the direction perpendicular to the direction of transferring the material to be fixed, therefore, the power can be saved by controlling energizing to the linear heating body and controlling the heat generation of the linear heating body.</p> |
