PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-proof hose smoothly bendable with little deformation of a sectional shape and excellent in watertightness. SOLUTION: In this pressure-proof hose, an outer circumferential surface of a synthetic resin flexible pipe in which outer circumferential surfaces of both ends are formed flat and thick-walled, a pipe wall between the ends is formed thin-walled over the whole length, and a reinforcing spiral projecting bar is continuously formed on the outer circumferential surface by a metal knit-cylinder, a flanged nipple is fitted to both ends having no reinforcing spiral projecting bar of the pressure-proof hose, and a short metal cylindrical body is fitted to the outer circumferential surface of the ends of the hose, and squeezed in the contracting direction to realize a watertight structure in which the flanged nipple is firmly and fully pressed against the inner circumferential surface of the ends of the hose.
